There is very useful software that will enable you to communicate with any textphone user as well as going through Typetalk - it is HyperTerminal Private Edition which is a great improvement on the basic version that comes with the Windows suite. You can download it for free from - http://www.hilgraeve.com/htpe/index.html Setting this up to make
calls, either through Typetalk or direct to a textphone, is a fairly
